The Baghdad International School reimagines the city's architectural heritage with a modern approach. Transforming the traditional "wall" from a symbol of power to a multifunctional, interactive element, the design integrates blue metal structures for arts, sciences, and public programs. Its pixelated facades blend with Zayouna's urban fabric while standing out with a distinctive style. A central courtyard fosters community, echoing the communal spirit of Islamic architecture, while accessible rooftops enhance functionality and social interaction. This thoughtful design combines security, education, and cultural heritage in a harmonious and innovative environment.
